The mission of the International Journal of AI in Language Education (IJAILE) (ISSN: 3065-0216) is to contribute to the literature of instruction by publishing high-quality studies in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), Computer Science Applications, Applications, AI Tools, Chatbots, m-learning, e-learning, Pedagogies & Language Teaching, AI for translation and interpretation, educational technology, and other Artificial Intelligence issues. As a peer-reviewed journal, one of our priorities is to ensure high standards of publishing. Publication ethics is an important concern, and editors, peer-reviewers, and authors should pay great attention to meeting ethical standards.

Open Access Policy

IJAILE aims to increase visibility and make easier use of open access scientific papers. Readers and their institutions are supported for online access without asking for any royalty, personal information, or log-in details. According to the open-access policy of our journal, all readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, link to, and search our articles with no charge.

Publication Frequency

The IJAILE will publish 3 issues per year in April, August, and December.  The ijte will publish manuscripts as soon as they are accepted. The journal volume is defined by the year of publication of articles.

  • 23rd AsiaCALL International Conference

    The International Journal of AI in Language Education (IJAILE) is pleased to support the 23rd AsiaCALL International Conference (AsiaCALL 2026), which will be held on 14–15 November 2026 at Phuong Dong University, Ha Noi, Vietnam, under the conference theme “AI for Language Assessment and Academic Integrity.”

    We are delighted to announce the strong international response to AsiaCALL 2026. The conference has received 205 abstract submissions from more than 400 authors representing 22 countries, including Indonesia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Finland, Thailand, China, the United States, Russia, Pakistan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, India, Bangladesh, South Korea, and Vietnam.

    This impressive participation reflects the growing international interest in the responsible and innovative use of artificial intelligence in language education and the continuing development of the AsiaCALL scholarly community.

    IJAILE provides an international scholarly platform for research on AI-assisted language teaching and learning, AI-supported language assessment, academic integrity, generative AI, teacher development, learner engagement and agency, AI literacy, and the ethical and responsible integration of AI into education.

    AsiaCALL 2026 participants are warmly encouraged to consider IJAILE and PAIC (Proceedings of the AsiaCALL International Conference) as a publication venue for high-quality research arising from the conference and for other innovative studies related to AI in language education. Submissions to Scopus Journals will be announced on 30 November 2026. The official AsiaCALL 2026 website also identifies IJAILE among the conference's publication opportunities.
