International Journal of AI in Language Education

The International Journal of AI in Language Education (IJAILE) is pleased to support the 23rd AsiaCALL International Conference (AsiaCALL 2026), which will be held on 14–15 November 2026 at Phuong Dong University, Ha Noi, Vietnam, under the conference theme “AI for Language Assessment and Academic Integrity.”

We are delighted to announce the strong international response to AsiaCALL 2026. The conference has received 169 abstract submissions from 341 authors representing 21 countries, including Indonesia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Finland, Thailand, China, the United States, Russia, Pakistan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam.

This impressive participation reflects the growing international interest in the responsible and innovative use of artificial intelligence in language education and the continuing development of the AsiaCALL scholarly community.

IJAILE provides an international scholarly platform for research on AI-assisted language teaching and learning, AI-supported language assessment, academic integrity, generative AI, teacher development, learner engagement and agency, AI literacy, and the ethical and responsible integration of AI into education.

AsiaCALL 2026 participants are warmly encouraged to consider IJAILE and PAIC (Proceedings of the AsiaCALL International Conference) as a publication venue for high-quality research arising from the conference and for other innovative studies related to AI in language education. Submissions to Scopus Journals will be announced on 30 November 2026. The official AsiaCALL 2026 website also identifies IJAILE among the conference's publication opportunities.
